Watervliet – Anne S. Urban, 92, formerly of Watervliet and Niskayuna, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes.

A native of Watervliet, Anne was the daughter of the late John and Eva W. Urban. She was a graduate of Watervliet High School, the Troy Business College and attended Russell Sage College. Anne was retired from the General Electric Research and Development Center following more than thirty two years of service.

She is survived by her sister, Julia U. Rentz of Bowling Green, Ohio and was preceded in death by her sister Pauline U. Bruggeman and her niece, Audrey L. Rentz, Ph.D.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9 AM from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 9:30 AM in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Watervliet where the funeral liturgy will be celebrated by the Reverend Mikhail Myschuk, pastor. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Maplewood.

Friends are invited and may also call on Tuesday from 5 until 7PM at the funeral home where the Panakhida Service will be held at 7 PM.
