COHOES, NY – Donald James Ewing, 56, died unexpectedly on December 29, 2014 at home.
Born in Troy, Donald was son of Walter and Janet (Tribley) Ewing, who survive. He was raised in Loudonville and attended Southgate Elementary School and was a 1977 graduate of Shaker High School. Donald later furthered his education at Hudson Valley Community College. A professional chauffeur, Donald was employed by Advantage Limousine in Albany. He loved to fish, hunt, follow NASCAR and ride his motorcycle.
He is survived by his son, Carleton (Autumn) Ewing; his siblings, Dawn Ewing, Diana (Paul) Goes and Derek (Brandi) Ewing; his nieces and nephew, Andrea, Christopher and Megan; his former wife, Blanche Jones and his step-sons Clifton and Joseph Casela.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 7 PM in the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Visiting hours are from 4 until 7 PM before the service.
