Obituary for Doris Ann Nelsen

TROY – Doris Ann Nelsen, 92, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2016. Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Gustuve and Mary Olsen. She is survived by her children; Andrew (Sara) Nelsen Jr. of Lansingburgh, and Susan (Dave Sadowsky) Nelsen of Petersburgh, and by her grandchildren; Kiel Sadowsky, Sakan Sadowsky, Jamie Nelsen, and Colin Nelsen. Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew Nelsen, and by her son, Mark Nelsen.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Road, Petersburgh. Those who wish to remember Doris in a special way may make a donation to the Veterans Memorial Community Center Flower Garden Memorial, PO Box 516, Petersburgh, NY 12138.
