Life Story for
Grafton – Michael V. Morrow, 59, peacefully passed away on April 15, 2017 at home after a very lengthy battle with cancer.
Michael was born April 11, 1958 in Troy, NY to the late John and surviving Kathleen Morrow and was educated in the Troy City School District.
Michael was self-employed but started his career with Morrow’s Tree and Landscaping, Davey Tree Service, and Davis Acoustical Co. His talent was best seen in the numerous construction projects Michael left behind.
He is survived by his children; Starr (Ceason) Recore of Elmira, NY, Steven (Heidi) Recore of Cohoes, Robert Recore (his caregiver) of Grafton, Thomas Morrow of Elmira, and January Marcus of Buskirk, his sisters; Mary (Vincent) Tapler of Johnsonville, Betsy (Daniel) McCann of Troy, Susan Morrow (his source of strength) of Grafton, and Patricia (Ronald) Morrow of Watervliet, his brothers; Christopher (Marygrace) Morrow of Troy, and Jeffrey (Mary) Morrow of Ellenville, as well as by 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Michael is predeceased his father, John, his wife, best friend, and love of his life, Tina, and two sons, John and Michael.
Mike was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time hiking through the mountains, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
