Condolence: Grandpa (Papa),



Please take care of my mom since she is with you now. There was not a day since you past 3 years ago she didn't think about you. Now, I sit here with the troubling thought of how much I miss her and you.


Forever will miss our trips to brotherhood park/baseball games, fishing at the river, the joy you had when you saw us come through the door or ours when we could see you on the front steps as we pull up. I remember you'd read your paper in the morning, we'd listen to the radio and grandma would make the best breakfast...We made countless store trips, McDonald's and Gus's runs...and I can't forget you attended mine and my sisters soccer & basketball games, graduations and you'd go to church with us every weekend....you were closest to me as a father growing up..and I was honored to be a granddughter of a service member and respected community activist...


I was very lucky to have had you in my life so long...I'm glad my son was able to spend time with you even though he was very young..


Give mom a hug for me...
Life isn't the same without you and Mom...
