Obituary for Charlene L. Slattery

Charlene Slattery of New Lebanon, NY passed away on Tuesday July 4th, 2017.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 38 years, Patrick of New Lebanon, her son Andy of Bellevue, NE and her grandchildren Reyna (9) and Liam (7), her father Paul Buckley, sister Michelle Troiano, and Raymond Coe of Gardner, MA. She joins her mother Arlene Buckley and brother Bryan Coe in heaven.

Charlene had a life long passion for working with children which showed in her 31 years of dedication to the New Lebanon School District. She took pride in the success of her many "adopted" kids, some of whom include Mark Monterosso, Ricardo DeGroff Jr, Rebecca Monterosso, Melanie Andrews, and Joseph Rogacki.

As a die hard New England Patriots Fan she wanted to leave one final thought to any NY Giants fans as she enters eternal rest ... "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Brady has 5 Rings while Eli has 2"

A memorial visitation will be held at the Hall and Higgins Funeral Home, 457 NY-43, Stephentown, on Sunday, July 9, from 4 until 6 PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Cemetery of the Evergreens, New Lebanon.
