Obituary for Roger E. Sherman

New Lebanon – Roger E. Sherman, 65, of New Lebanon died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center following a long illness. Born on February 6, 1952, he is the son of Harold and Evelyn Sherman.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Sharon Spaniol Sherman, his daughters; Ashley Haddad Babcock and Danielle Sherman, his beloved dogs; Dakota and Nikki, his brother Harold (Sandy) Sherman, and his sister Evelyn ‘Tootsie’ Kivlen.
Roger last worked as a heavy equipment operator with the local 98. He also worked as a master mason with the Freemans.
Roger’s greatest loves were his family, his granddaughter Riley, and being at home making everyone laugh with his unique sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Roger’s family would like to thank Berkshire Oncology for taking such great care of him.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
