Condolence: Dear Frank and Nadine, I just received notice that your mom and my Aunt has passed away. I want to send my condolences to both of you, even though it has be more than 50 years since we last met and talked. I just wanted to say that your mother was alway been most kind and loving to me. I always enjoyed being in her presence and enjoyed hearing from her at Christmas time with her Christmas Card. I shall have her in my prayers at Mass every Sunday along with my parents. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

Your mother was a very black-and-white woman
(similar to mine) which meant that her love for her family was inviolate.
No matter how long we have them, it's still hard to be an adult orphan.
