Obituary for Nancy E. Haley (Campbell)

LATHAM – Nancy E. Campbell Haley, 76, died peacefully Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Niskayuna on January 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Dorothy Ovitt Campbell. Nancy was raised and educated in Schenectady and has been a resident of Latham for the past 50 years.
She was a homemaker as well as a business partner with her husband of Edco Auto Trim and Haley Amusements both in Latham.
She enjoyed spending summers in her home in the Adirondacks. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the E.T. Ruane American Legion Post #476 in Cohoes. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Wm. Edward Haley who died in 2006; beloved mother of Nancy K. (Michael) Apisa of Latham, Kelly Haley (Vince Catalfamo) of Colonie, Douglas (Allison) Akins and Edward (Wendy) Akins both of Saratoga, Terri (Dan) Haley of Niskayuna, Timothy (Ilene) Haley of Mechanicville, Tamie (Tom) Hadden of Troy; sister of Cookie, Bobbi, Maureen and the late Gloria and Inez. She is also survived by a special niece and nephew, Karen Tribley and Stan Batko, 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one on the way.
A special thank you to her loving daughter Nancy for taking great care of our mom over the past few years.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham on Monday from 4-6 pm. A private funeral service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
