Condolence: I had the pleasure of several tours of duty with Valerie -- halcyon days at Loudonville Elementary PTA; cheering our daughters on the modified swim team at Shaker Junior High; and serving together as members of the YMCA Camp Chingachgook Board of Advisors. Her intelligence, pragmatism, esprit de corps and quiet spirituality were a source of personal inspiration and amazement. Though her light was extinguished much too soon, I know her adventurous spirit will live on in the many concentric circles of lives she touched.
