Obituary for Donna E. Button (Stanley)

CHERRY PLAIN – Donna E. Stanley Button, 67, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her home in Cherry Plain. Born in Cambridge, NY on August 25, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Norton and Hazel Burdick Stanley.
Donna was raised and educated in Berlin. She was employed at the Berlin Hotel as a waitress, National Hanger in Bennington, VT and by W.J. Cowee, Inc. in Berlin in the packing room.
Donna loved gardening and coloring her National Arbor Day booklet.
She is the beloved wife of Allen A. Button; mother of Allen D. Button, Timothy L. (Shelly) Button of Cherry Plain and the late Hazel (Wesley) Alderman, Jr.; grandmother of Allen, Josh, Samantha, Justin, Corey and is survived by several great-grandchildren; sister of Harold Stanley, Arnold VanWie, Wanda Moon, Nora Ormsby and the late Donald Stanley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Road on Thursday from 11 am – 12 noon. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Pastor Matthew Olsen officiating. Interment will follow in the Berlin Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, PO Box 361, Petersburgh, NY 12138 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
