She was a communicant of Newtonville United Methodist Church and took pride in being the church’s second-oldest living member. When not at work or volunteering her time, Dot was an avid bridge player and dog-lover. She also loved spending time with her best friend and neighbor, the late Jane Cornell.
Dot is survived by her 4 daughters; Marsha (Shawn) Carr of Wilmington, NC, Christine Borst of Syracuse, Cynthia (Bob) Farrelly of Latham, and Janice (Stanley) Peak of Latham, her siblings; Eleanor (late Arthur) Budd of Falls Church, VA, Bob (Sandy Conway) McEvoy of Halifax, MA, and William (Deen) McEvoy of Hudson, MA, and by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10 AM at the Newtonville United Methodist Church. Interment will take place at a later date in Glen Valley Cemetery, Barre, MA.
