Obituary for Patricia K. Krikorian (Fogarty)

WATERVLIET – Patricia K. Fogarty Krikorian, 70, died peacefully Friday, February 16, 2018 with her beloved family at her side.
Born in Troy on March 16, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Ethel Meeson Fogarty and the daughter in law of the late Krikor and Lucy Krikorian. Pat was raised in Lansingburgh and was a graduate of St. Augustine’s School and Catholic Central High School.
Pat was a full time Mom and Mema and devoted her life to her late husband Gary, her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed tending to her flower garden and being around her pool, family trips to Salisbury Beach, MA and York Beach, Maine where her motto to her kids was, “go have fun and make memories”.
She cherished the fabulous times with her dear friends the “Golden Girls” and was a great cook who was well known for her baklava, deviled eggs and her jello mold.
She is the beloved wife to the late Charles J. “Gary” Krikorian who died December 25, 2016; the best Mom to Scott M. Krikorian of Watervliet, Tara (Geoffrey) Frazier and Kristin (Travis) Winglosky both of Colonie and Gregory (Tammie) Krikorian of Wynantskill; adored Mema to Jalena, Cameron, Alec, Briella, Kali and expecting Baby Krikorian; dear sister to Billy, Arthur, Ethel, Ruth Ann, Albert, Tommy, Dave and the late Carl; sister in law to Linda (Skip) Gross of Green Island. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and her German Shepherd, Fenway Frank.
At Pat’s request, there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Her Life service will be held at a later date to be announced.
