Obituary for Erin P. McMahon

Watervliet – Erin P. McMahon, 59, of Watervliet, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, October 25, 2018, with her loving family at her bedside. Born in Troy on March 11, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Patricia McMahon.

Erin was born and raised in Troy and was a 1977 graduate of Troy High School. She worked as a Lead Agent for American Airlines for many years which allowed her to travel all over the world. While she loved traveling, nothing made her happier than spending time with her family whom she cared for dearly.

Erin is survived by her siblings, Rita (late Bobby Sr.) DeChiaro and Peggy (Nico) Acevedo, her sister-in-law, Mary McMahon, 19 nieces and nephews, and 10 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Kelly (late Jamie) Loveless, Peter McMahon, and Janet McMahon.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3 until 6 PM at Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Watervliet. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Erin in a special way may consider a donation to Community Hospice: Gift Processing, 310 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
