Mary Pantore (Capuano)
ALBANY – Mary Capuano Pantore, 88, beloved wife of the late Joseph Leo Pantore, entered into eternal life on November 18, 2017 at the Teresian House in Albany. Born in Green Island on April 10, 1929, Mary was the much loved daughter of the late John and Amelia (Riccitelli) Capuano, A life-long area resident, Mary resided in Latham for more than 40 years and more recently resided in Halfmoon.

Mary was employed as a registered nurse by the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany where she worked in the Emergency Room for many years. A faith-filled woman, Mary appreciated her Catholic faith. While in Latham she attended St. Ambrose Church and later, while a resident of Halfmoon, attended St. Mary’s Church in Crescent. She was a member of the Catholic Nurses Association and enjoyed bowling, with her friends, in Green Island and going on shopping trips with her daughters and grandchildren. Mary loved and appreciated nothing more than the cherished times spent with her family.

She was the loving mother of Joanne (Michael) Nardini of Mechanicville and Lisa (Mark) Pierre of Waterford; the cherished grandmother of Janci (late Michael) Perkins, Michael Nardini, Alisha Pierre, Ashley Pierre and Joseph Pierre; the adored great-grandmother of Michael, Emma and Catie; the dear sister of the late John Capuano. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff of the Teresian House (Carmel Garden East Wing) for the wonderful and loving care provided to Mary throughout her stay and for the support offered to her family. We will forever be grateful.
