Condolence From: Jay and Debbie Close
Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with the Vanderzee family. Jean was a great lady, full of energy, spunk, stories and yes, opinions. She was a wonderful neighbor to us in Adirondack, very active in the community, she will be missed.

Condolence: I fondly remember Mrs. Vanderzee as my elementary school gym teacher at Hoosic Valley and in her element at Willard Mountain when she was skiing. I was glad to hear she continued to enjoy skiing and the outdoors well into retirement. Condolences and prayers to her family.

Condolence: Dear David, Anne and Kris and All Family Members, I was sad to read of the passing of your beloved Mom Jean. I did not know of her personally but the Bible says "You will know them by their fruit". I have only known David but I doubt that she could have wished for a better son well respected in the business community, loving husband and father and like Mother like son an accomplished skier, hunter and athlete. She is not lost she is simply not here. JESUS said to the thief on the Cross "This day you will be with me in Paradise" Jean now has eternity to spend time doing whatever she wishes with whomever she wishes for as long as she wishes. She has traded her old Earth Suit for a new Heavenly style that never wears out. She has made it "Home" her real "Home". You will see her again. Until then cry if you must but not to hard or too long, hold up the weak ones, tell the old stories and one day you will hear the sound of your own laughter something she would want most of all. Peace.
