Obituary for Lori Ann Spoon

Cohoes – Lori Ann Spoon, 55, of Cohoes, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. She was born September 12, 1962 in Troy and was raised in the area, attending Troy High.
Lori worked for over 35 years in food service, most recently for Dunkin Donuts in Cohoes. When not hard at work, she enjoyed playing pool and taking care of her pets. While these things brought her joy, nothing made her happier than being a mother to her son Michael. She was the best Mom that a Mom could be, and her motherly compassion and care is something that will never be forgotten.
Lori’s memory lives on in her loving son, Michael Spoon of Cohoes, her partner Jeff Dodge, her siblings; Charles (Jaqueline) Spoon of Cohoes, George Spoon of Watervliet, Sharon (Donald) Wiliiams of Troy, and Kimberly (Shane) LaBounty of Waterford, several loving nieces and nephews, and by her canine companion, Chalupa, and her six cats.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2 PM at Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Watervliet. Visitation prior to the service, from 1 until 2 PM.
