Obituary for Charles A. Jeseo

WATERVLIET – Charles A. Jeseo, 91, died peacefully Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at his daughter Rhonda’s home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late James C. and Claire Micholsky Jeseo. He was a 1951 graduate of Siena College. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II.
Charles was employed by the Ford Motor Co. for 37 years as an accountant before retiring. During tax season, he would return to work at Grogan & Stufflebeam, LLC Accountants until retiring in 2015.
He was the longest term commissioner in the history of the Watervliet Housing Authority, serving on the Board of Directors from 1989 until his death. He was respected by his colleagues throughout New York State and the US Department of Housing.
He was also a member of the Watervliet Lodge of Elks and the Watervliet VFW Post #729.
He was the beloved husband for 51 years of the late Josephine C. Valente Jeseo; devoted father of Rhonda L. (late David R.) Kutey of Latham, Cynthia (Robert J. Jr.) Grimaldi of Nassau and the late Bradford J. Jeseo; proud grandfather of Jennifer (Eric) Larson, Damien James Kutey, Alexander C. Jeseo, Vincent B. Jeseo and the late Jason David Kutey and Courtney Kutey; great grandfather of Tyler David Larson and Damien Austin Kutey; brother of the late Theodore Jeseo; dear friend of Gail Larson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral mass will be Saturday at 9 am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Watervliet. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet on Friday from 4-7 pm.
