Obituary for Kelly A. Ferenc

SCHODACK – Kelly A. Ferenc, 54, died peacefully at home on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Born in Troy on March 3, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Myron and Marian Squadere Ferenc. Kelly was raised in Troy and attended Troy High School and graduated from Waterford-Halfmoon High School and later Hudson Valley Community College.
She was employed by New York State in Taxation & Finance, TAP and Higher Education for over 21 years before retiring.
Kelly enjoyed crafts, flowers, gardening, playing on her computer and horse racing especially at the Saratoga Race Course.
She is the beloved wife and partner of Mark A. Zukowski; loving mother of Sarah L. (Walter) Bell of East Greenbush, Mark Z. Zukowski, Jr. and James W. Zukowski, II both of Schodack; adored grandmother of Skyler M. Bell and Madison E. Bell; dear sister of Cherri A. Ferenc McKay of Ft. Myers, FL and William A. Soucy of East Greenbush. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet on Thursday from 4-6 pm followed by the funeral service at 6 pm with Pastor Scott Matson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY 12189 to assist the family.
