Condolence From: Brian Kucan
Condolence: I just found out about this and my spirit is crushed. I had the honor of working with him in the Emergency Department as a registrar. Just look at his smile. He could heal a damaged soul with his smile alone. The world is a better place because he passed though it and made things better. I worked for St. Peter's for about 7 years and can say that he was one of the few people that made working there worth while. Though we were not friends, he always made others around him feel as if he was. He truly was one of God's greatest healers spending his life uplifting the suffering. He will be missed.

Condolence: Bob was the true epitome of the nursing profession and it was my distinct pleasure to work with him for over 10 years at St. Peter's. He was a great leader, mentor and friend to so many! To Bob's wife, children, parents and entire family my deepest and sincerest condolences. He will be deeply missed. May he forever rest in peace.

Condolence: I had the honor and privilege of working with Bob in the Emergency Department for many years. A calm and reassuring presence in an often chaotic place. He cared deeply for patients and their families, but that paled in comparison to his love for his family. Elaine, Rachel and Gabe - never did those blue eyes shine more brightly than when he was talking about you. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. He was a kind and loving man.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing and I offer my sincere condolences to the Smith family. I know you will sorely miss such a wonderful presence in your family. You can find great comfort in the hope for the future present in the bible: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.””(Revelation 21:4) This scripture references future conditions on Earth, in which there will be no more suffering or death. There is also a hope found in John 5:28,29, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice [the voice of Jesus] and come out." The resurrection that this Bible verse talks about will give us the opportunity to see our lost loved ones again. I know it will be a joyous time when you can see Bob once more! I invite you to visit JW.ORG for more information on this comforting hope.

Condolence: I worked in the office with Bob during his time as nurse manager at St. Peter’s. He was a truly wonderful man and surely will be missed. He was a tremendous asset to the emergency department and a friend but as he was the same age as my own son, we shared many stories of children / grandchildren and it was so clear to me that he was first and foremost a very loving husband and father. My heart goes out to Elaine, Gabe and Rachel. May their memories of Bob bring them some comfort through this very difficult time.
