Condolences

Condolence From: Rev. Off. Paul M. Carney
Condolence: Was very sad to hear of the passing of the Commissioner. I was one of the first Police Interns to be hired in 1973 by your husband. He also hired me in 1976 as a Police Officer. Commissioner O'Connor was always a fair man with the Officers on the job. After he left as Commissioner I enjoyed running into him in downtown Troy or at your house while I was on patrol. Please accept my condolences.

Condolence: My condolences to the O’Connor family on George’s passing. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with George over the years on Police Department projects in the City of Watervliet. He was always the consummate professional. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest In Peace

Condolence: Terry and family: we are sorry to hear of George's death. We remember him well, and so many good evenings with you both, filled with good conversation and laughter. George was wonderful; witty, smart, and a terrific political observer. You had a great relationship--it's very pleasant to remember our days in Troy, our time with you.
Be well, and treasure all those good memories.
Best,
Mike and Roberta Armstrong

Condolence: Terry and family:
Please accept my most sincere condolences on George's passing. I had many occasions to work with him while he served as Commissioner of Public Safety in Troy. I found him to be a very honorable man, and I was pleased when your family choose to remain in Troy after his term in office was over. He will be missed. I would prefer to pay my respects in person, but I shall not be in New York at that time. Jim Canfield.
