Obituary for Katherine Ann McLaughlin (DuBray)
LANSINGBURGH – Katherine Ann DuBray McLaughlin, 62, died peacefully Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at her home in Lansingburgh with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 25, 1958, the daughter of the late William V. and Irene M. Benjamin DuBray. She was raised in Lyon Mountain, NY and was a graduate of the Northern Adirondack Central School in Ellenburg, NY. She moved to Glens Falls with her cousin Mary and later moved to the Capital District.
She was employed by the Wholesale Outlet in Colonie, NYS Dept. of Taxation & Finance, the Handleman Company and most recently by the Eddy Home Health Care in Troy as a home health aide.
She enjoyed camping in Schroon, bingo, crocheting, scratch-offs and loved to visit with her family and friends.
She is the beloved mother of Tricia K. McLaughlin of Pleasantdale and Justina M. McLaughlin of Lansingburgh; adored grandmother of Janessa McIntyre and the late Lily M. Palella; dear sister of Maureen Carter (Jennifer), Barbara VanVranken, Michael, Earl, Jeffrey and Michelle DuBray and the late Steven and Brad DuBray and Jimmy Getavesky; sister-in-law of Laura DuBray of Dannemora; best friend of the late Sandra Ritrovato. She is also survived by her two nephews, Nathan Doty and Brandon DuBray; four nieces, Erica Newkirk, Brenna, Leah and Madison DuBray; three great nieces, McKenna, Kylah and Audra. She is also survived by her little side kick, her dog Emma.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
