Obituary for Ethel Pufpaff
Latham – Ethel Rands Pufpaff, 93, passed away of natural causes on January 18, 2021 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland. She was born on January 12, 1928 in Salisbury Center, NY to the late John and Ethel (Lasch) Rands.
Ethel married the late Frederick Pufpaff on July 14, 1952 and were married for more than 52 years until his passing. She was a graduate of Cortland State University and was a teacher until becoming a full time home maker. Ethel was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of Newtonville United Methodist Church. During her life, Ethel enjoyed church activities, boating, playing bridge, various social groups and family activities.
Ethel is survived by her children, Ann Pufpaff and Richard (Christine) Pufpaff; her grandchildren, Mark (Nicole) Pufpaff and Abigail Pufpaff; and her brother, John (Beverly) Rands. She is also survived by many other family and friends.
