Obituary for Natasha Zonitch

COLONIE – Natasha Zonitch, 57, died suddenly June 2, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. She was born in Ithaca, NY on December 16, 1963, the beloved daughter of the late George and Sophie Nystoriak Zonitch.

She was raised and educated in Latham and was a graduate of Shaker High School. She later attended college in Florida. She moved to Las Vegas, NV with her parents and resided there for over 20 years. She was employed as an administrative assistant for the State of Nevada. She returned to the Capital District this past year.

Natasha was a former parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Russian Orthodox Church in Las Vegas, NV and was a current parishioner of St. Basil’s Russian Orthodox Church in Maplewood where she was a member of the St. Basil’s Sisterhood.

She is survived by many cousins.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 23rd at 11 am at St. Basil’s Russian Orthodox Church, Maplewood with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11 am. Interment will follow in St. Basil’s Cemetery.
