Obituary for Deborah A. O'Donnell

Troy – Deborah A. O’Donnell, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 10, 2021 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Horton) Murray.

Deb was a graduate of Catholic Central High School Class of 1969. Following high school she would go on to work for The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for more than 37 years until her retirement. She enjoyed shopping and lunches with her sister Barbara and loved to spend time with her friends and family enjoying life.

Deborah is survived by her son, Sean O’Donnell; her sister, Barbara (The late John) Burke; and her brother, Ed (Karen) Murray. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Albany Medical Center, especially RN Andrew Nickel, RN Oksana Korostil, Dr. Julian Remouns and Dr. Alex Giuliano for their extraordinary care and compassion shown to Deborah and the family through these most difficult days.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Deborah on Monday November 15th at 10:00 am at Transfiguration Parish South Site, 50 Hillview Drive in Speigletown. Calling hours for Deborah will be held on Sunday November 14th from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at The Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, 2013 Broadway in Watervliet.
