Obituary for Marilyn C. Bonesteel Olszowy
Latham – Marilyn C. Bonesteel Olszowy, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 3, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Albany on May 29, 1946 she is the daughter of the late Harry and Bertha (LaBombard) Knauf.
Marilyn was a graduate of Watervliet High School. She enjoyed her Casino trips, playing Bingo and had the occasional taste for a Busch Light. Marilyn was also a past President of The Brunswick Elks Ladies Auxiliary.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Debra Strohmaier, Christine Haupt and William (Rachel) Bonesteel; her “other son”, Frank Nedoroscik; her beloved grandchildren, Wayne (Melissa) Haupt, Jr., Brittany Haupt, Michael Bonesteel and Juliet Bonesteel; and her great-grandchildren, Avery, Cora, Blaire and Natalie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Harold Bonesteel, Sr.; her son, Harold Bonesteel, Jr.; and her second husband, William Olszowy.

Calling hours for Marilyn will be held on Wednesday April 6th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at The Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, 2013 Broadway in Watervliet. A funeral service will commence at 7:00 pm. Burial will be private to the family.
