Obituary for Paul M. Murray
ALBANY – Paul M. Murray, 73, died Friday, July 1, 2022 at his home in Albany.
He was born in Amsterdam on February 15, 1949, the son of the late Robert D. and Helen (Ahnert)
Murray. He was raised and educated in Amsterdam and attended college in North Dakota. He resided in Boston, MA for many years before moving to Albany over 30 years ago.
Paul was employed by the Computer Sciences Corporation in Menands as a computer programmer for many years before retiring.
Paul loved golf, baseball and hockey. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins fan.
He is the beloved father of Erin Murray of Albany and Matthew A. Murray of Troy; grandfather of Morgan and Zachary Murray. He is also survived by several siblings.
Relatives and friends may call at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet on Monday, July 11th from 4-6 pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 12th at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by the burial in Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
