Obituary for Wayne A. Martin Jr.
NEW LEBANON – Wayne A. Martin, Jr., 33, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
He was born in Pittsfield, MA on June 8, 1989 at 3:34 pm to his loving parents, Wayne A. Martin, Sr. of New Lebanon and Donna J. McEneany Demick of Petersburgh and the step-son of Ron Demick. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Charlotte Martin.
Wayne attended New Lebanon schools. He was employed by Jiminy Peak Ski Resort and Windham Time Share both in Hancock, MA. He later worked for Safelight Auto Glass and was a landscaper for many years.
Wayne’s passion was hunting and fishing which he loved. He also appeared as an extra in the movie “Taking Woodstock” that was filmed in New Lebanon in 2008.
In addition to his loving parents, he is the beloved brother of Melissa A. (Corey) Fleming of Petersburgh and Rachael L. Martin of Pennsylvania; adored uncle of Sahara A. Young, Felicity J. Fleming and Keegan P. Fleming; great uncle to Owen Reichelt; cherished boyfriend of Eden Dodge. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Hall & Higgins Funeral Home, 457 NY 43, Stephentown on Wednesday, August 3rd from 4:00-6:30 pm followed by the funeral service at 6:30 pm with Rev. Trygve Tomlinson officiating.
