Obituary for Becky Ann Bonesteel (Hammond)
PETERSBURGH – Becky Ann Hammond Bonesteel, 65, died Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Crescent Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bennington, VT.
She was born in Bennington, VT on July 27, 1957, the daughter of the late Richard E. and Edythe J. Smith Hammond. Becky was a lifelong resident of Petersburgh and was educated in Berlin Central School.
Becky was a Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in New York and Vermont. She was employed by St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy for over 30 years before retiring several years ago.
Becky was a very active member of the Berlin Seventh Day Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is the beloved mother of Phillip R. Bonesteel of Amsterdam and Kevin R. (Jennifer) Bonesteel of Berlin; adored grandmother of Noah, Isaiah, Jacob and Madelyn Bonesteel; dear sister of Paul (Jean) Hammond of Petersburgh; aunt of Daniel and Jeffrey Hammond.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 29th at 2:00 pm at the Berlin Seventh Day Baptist Church, 41 N. Main Street, Berlin with Pastor Matthew Olson and Pastor Joshua Michaels officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Berlin Seventh Day Baptist Church, PO Box 284, Berlin, NY 12022.
