Obituary for Susan G. Pratt
MENANDS – Susan Graham Pratt, 76, formerly of Menands, passed peacefully Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the Schenectady Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing.
Susan was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Warwick) Pratt. Born October 17, 1946, she resided in Watervliet as a child before moving to Syracuse, NY, Brunswick, ME and Poughkeepsie, NY before lastly residing in Menands, NY.
A graduate of Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse as an X Ray Technician, she worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh for many years.
Susan was a member of the former Jermain Memorial Presbyterian Church and Bethany Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir of both.
She was predeceased by both of her parents and her brother, Thomas Pratt. Surviving her are cousins, Terri Lorensen of Halfmoon, NY and Susan Rasmussen of Cazenovia, NY and her dearest friends, Steve, Mary Lou and Sabrina Wahl.
We wish to thank her many caregivers at Atria Loudonville in Albany, Delmar Health Care and Schenectady Center for their care and kindness. She will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends may attend a graveside service on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands (the procession will gather at the main gate off of Broadway at 12:45 pm).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of NENY, 3 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205.
