Obituary for Harold Hilton Burdick Jr.
Hoosick Falls - Harold H Burdick Jr., 62, of Hoosick Falls, NY passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. Harold was born on July 18, 1960 in Troy, NY the son of the late Harold Burdick Sr. and Violet Harrington(Richter).
Harold worked for A & U magazine for the past 20+ years. Harold loved to travel, loved all things Disney, and enjoyed playing the occasional practical joke. Of all the things that brought him joy, his family was by far the most important.
Harold is survived by his 5 sisters and 2 brothers; Judy (Robert), Nancy (Irving), Julia (late Bill), Cinda, Carolynn, Loren (Karen) and Brian (Lacey). Harold is also survived by his children; Floyd, Wanda & Duane. Harold raised 5 of his grandchildren; Jake, Hunter, Savannah, Cody and Joey, but he was Poppy to many other grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Harold's memory also lives on in a very special cousin, Mary Tefoe. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his husband David, and his sisters, Robin and Carol.
Harold was loved and cherished by all of his family but he had a very special relationship with his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 11 am - 12 pm at Thomas M Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Road, Petersburgh, NY. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery, Petersburgh.
