Obituary for Glena Lee Jones (Kemp)
STEPHENTOWN – Glena Lee (Kemp) Jones, 88, died peacefully Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY after a brief illness.
She was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on August 27, 1934, the daughter of the late Glinard and Ola Mae (Cole) Kemp.
She was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War serving her country from 1952-1953.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard W. Jones who died May 8, 2012.
She leaves behind her beloved daughter and caretaker, Terry L. Masula (Dennis Baker) of Stephentown, NY and her son Richard Jones, Jr. of North Carolina; her grandchildren, James “Joe” (Jennifer) Masula of Stephentown, Candice Horton of Brainard and Joshua (Rebecca) Jones of Florida; her great-grandchildren and the love of her life, Logan Horton of Brainard, Brady and Preston Jones of Florida and by love, Casen Waldorf, US Army, of North Carolina whom she was so proud of.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Her ashes will be entombed next to her husband at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
